There are two types of production methods of solvent-free aluminum pigments. Each of the two methods has its own advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of the dry ball mill method is that the production process is simple, there is no solvent, and the production cost is low. The disadvantage is that the whole production line must be completely sealed. The particle size distribution of the aluminum sheet produced is relatively wide, and the acid and alkali resistance and weather resistance are poor, which cannot meet the requirements of high-grade coatings. The advantages of wet ball mill and re-wrapped aluminum pigments are relatively narrow particle size distribution, good acid and alkali resistance and weather resistance. The disadvantage is that the production cost is high and the consumption of more natural resources. Both production methods have a corresponding customer base. It is estimated that in the next 5-10 years, it will be one of the rapid development directions of the aluminum pigment industry.
