1. Brightness / whiteness.
The thicker the pigment particles, the more round the shape, and the higher the proportion of reflected light, so the brighter and whiter the pigment particles.
2. Flicker.
Flicker refers to the change of whiteness when viewed from different angles. The thicker the pigment particles are, the more round the shape is, and the stronger the shining property of the color with the angle is.
3. Hiding power and freshness.
The finer the pigment particles, the more irregular the particle structure, the higher the proportion of scattered light, the more uniform it looks, the higher the hiding power, and the better the DOI. The higher the freshness, the more specular effect, the clearer the image of the coating surface.

1. Particle size.
The coarser the particle size of aluminum pigment is, the stronger the brightness and glitter is, and the finer the particle size of aluminum pigment is, the better the hiding power and freshness are.
2. Particle size distribution.
The quality characteristics of aluminum pigments are related not only to the particle size but also to the particle size distribution system. The narrower the particle size distribution is, the more uniform the particle size is and the better the optical properties are.
3. Surface treatment and particle shape.
The metal used in production is malleable, so the atomized spherical aluminum powder can be formed into flake particles, and its shape factor (thickness-warp ratio) can reach 1: 50 ~ 1: 500.
